Since 2008, the Pitt Policy Journal (PPJ) has offered an opportunity for students to publish original work and share their recommended policy approaches with a broad audience. Throughout the course of its existence, substantial progress has been made in both the quality and scope of the journal. This year was no different. Our publication undertook a complex challenge by addressing controversial and pressing policy issues directly, but maintaining objectivity and professionalism.
